Pawel Althamer:
"Clouds begin to billow"
Each shaped like a pillow,
Sunshine waxes yellow
Snow falls thick in eerie silence
Binds in frosty mellow
Soon we'll sled the hillsides, Boys and girls all allied
We can climb the slopes together
To fly down starry-eyed
Pawel Althamer:

Sunshine waxes yellow
Snow falls thick in eerie silence
Binds in frosty mellow
Soon we'll sled the hillsides, Boys and girls all allied
We can climb the slopes together
To fly down starry-eyed
Hurry, hurry, hurry
Chase the snowy flurry
Before the powder melts away
Turning to a slurry
a nursery rhyme
Music: Zofia Dyktor-Dabrowska

Snohetta:
July and August 2003:
A family spending their summer vacation in a caravan. The vacation is documented on video.
October 2003:
A single caravan is left on site. It is our caravan.
November 2003:
The caravan is slowly covered with snow.
December 2003-January 2004:
The caravan is completely covered in snow. The entrance is opened through a tube. A snow canon is sculpturing the soft contour lines of the caravan and strong light with pointed effect is shining through thin layers of snow.
Inside runs a video of the family vacation during summer. High contrast.
It's the summer winter show.
It's a long day versus a long night.
It's dark versus light.
It's green versus white.
February 2004:
Coloured water is used in the snow canon and the sculpture changes slowly towards spring.
The damage is done.
