I’M A BEAR, SO WHAT?

2022

Paola Pivi

Paola Pivi’s photographic artwork “I’m a bear so what” (2012) is derived from the large scale installation “What goes round, art comes round” (2010), consisting of 24 bears rugs, which are custom made and completely fake, but which appear extremely realistic. The fake bear rugs are playfully and theatrically displayed overlapping in a line, forming a continuous loop, on floor, walls and ceiling of the exhibition room. The photograph was shot by Attilio Maranzano.
