As a research based artist, Karyn wants to DIG into the earth and history of the Parkway. She will conduct extensive research about the evolution of the parkway and allow the visitors a temporary glimpse into the past to the inception of the parkway 100 years ago. Her work will incorporate lots of community involvement and participation. Her clever approach to fully incorporating light as a material to shift the experience from day to night through projection will cause a special interest by bringing people back from the past. A closing performance will return the past but allow it to live on into the future through the temporary collective experience.
